Yusef Alahmad Digital Art ‘Etc Orange’
Yusef Alahmad Digital Art is a reflection of his artistic style. A graphic designer and artist based in New York he has just graduated with a Masters, MFA degree in graphic design from the Academy of Art University, California. He is currently working on his thesis:‘Elevating Graphic Design Standards in Saudi Arabia’ and is a full time freelancer,alternating between graphic design projects, editorial illustration art commissions, and exhibits.
Recently, he was a judge in the second annual Arabic Design competition in Saudi and was a guest speaker at Huna Art as well as TYPO SF.
Yusef’s work is colorful and usually consists of Arabic typography and patterns. He enjoys printmaking and mixing different media resulting in his unique art pieces. Furthermore he describes his work as a combination of his past and present. He also draws his inspiration from traditional elements especially relevant to his childhood and Saudi background fused with influences from his present life in the US.
